Traditional Program Grades K-8

Faith is destined to form in the hearts of believers. Adhering to Jesus Christ sets in motion a process of continuing conversion which goes on for the whole of ones lifetime.
The Traditional Program meets once a week on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from September to May for approximately 30 weeks. The Tuesday and Wednesday classes run for 90 minutes each week and Monday classes are 100 minutes each class. The children will be assigned to a Catechist for their grade level and will cover most, if not all, of the chapters in their text book. Weekly attendance is critical as classroom time is limited. The children will be tested on the material taught in the classroom.
Weekly mass attendance is a requirement for the faith development of each child and family in our program. Please fulfill your obligation, as their first and foremost teachers of the Catholic faith, by bringing the children to mass and religion classes.
Homework is a requirement for the faith development. Homework will be base on the weekely Gospel readings and not be from the text book.

2012-2013 Registration
Registration forms for the Traditional Weekly Program are available below. Please download one Family Registration Form and a Grade Form for each child that you are registering and drop these completed forms in the PREP mailbox on the side door of the Parish Center. New students must bring a copy of their baptismal certificate.
Payment is due at the time of registration. An additional Sacramental fee of $75.00 is required for 2nd and 8th graders. Please make checks payable to Saint Margaret PREP.
